Description

of ovoid form, modeled as a storage jar with a bow-tied cord encircling the mouth over the simulated pleated fabric covering gilded with mon and the Tokugawa crest, the pale blue body applied with a knotted cord net covering, mounted as a lamp.
Condition
The vase drilled in the center of the base for lamping but otherwise overall good condition, with very minor firing imperfections and very slight rubbing to the gilding. Please note the stand is cast bronze, and one lingzhi-form foot is slightly loose and screwed back on. Please note, currently mounted as a lamp and it was not unmounted for inspection.
