Catalogue Note
A VERY RARE WORK ON THE HAJJ. NOT TRACED IN AUCTION RECORDS. This is the doctoral thesis, for the Faculté des Lettres of Paris university, of Jacques Jomier (1914-2008), a Dominican priest and latterly theology professor in seminaries in Cairo, Mosul and elsewhere. He was the author of many subsequent books on Islam.
