Condition
The badge is to all intents and purposes identical on both sides. The suspension ring is slightly bent and this can be seen in the catalogue photograph. The white enamel exhibits some flaking in four of the eight arm panels which is commensurate with moderate wear. This may be discerned in the photograph of one side which is shown in the catalogue. The openwork crown, central medallions on both sides and all eight red eagle panels are in extremely fine condition, showing only slight signs of overall wear.
