Condition
(i) Executed on cream wove paper which has been removed from a sketchbook, not laid down, affixed to the mount at all four corners and floating in its mount. The left-hand edge has a vertical string of perforated holes with associated small tears consistent with the sketchbook medium. There are spots of minor paper skinning along the extreme edges. The sheet is slightly light stained with a few dots of foxing, predominately along the left edge. This work is in overall very good condition. (ii) Executed on cream laid paper, not laid down, affixed to the mount at the lower right and left corners and floating in its mount. The extreme edges are slightly unevenly cut. The sheet is slightly undulating. There is a faint handling mark in the lower right corner. The sheet is slightly light stained. This work is in overall very good condition.
