Condition
Executing on transfer paper, laid down on canvas. The sheet is slightly undulating. Edges are slightly unevenly cut. There is a pinhole at the centre of the left edge and there is glue remnant along the extreme edges. There are two vertical faint creases to the upper left quadrant and an horizontal crease running across the centre of the composition. There are two minor scratches (the longuest of which is approx. 7 cm) towards the left part of the upper edge. There are flattened creases in places, notably towards the centre of the right edge, consistent with the laid down process. There are two repaired tears (the longuest of which is approx. 6 cm long) to the left part of the lower and upper edges. There are two tiny paper losses to the right part of the lower edge. There is some light frame rubbing with associated dots of black residue along the extreme edges. The sheet is light stained with a few scattered dots of foxing. This work is in overall good condition.
