Description

  • 12.5 cm, 4 7/8  in.
flanked by a curved spout and a handle, the rounded shoulder and cylindrical neck painted in dark brown with geometric designs

Condition

The ewer has some nibbles to the edges, especially to the tip of the spout. There are some glaze flakes, including two refilled ones of approx. 0.6 cm at the mouthrim. The ewer is covered with wax at places, including a small section to the spout, possibly to stabilise glaze flakes and conceal firing flaws.
