Good overall condition. The surface is slightly soiled throughout, with stronger soiling along the corners. There are two vertical traces on the lower half of the composition (the largest 16 cm), visible on the catalogue illustration. There are tiny craquelures along the lower left corner. There are some small losses of paint along the lower edge on the left, partially visible on the catalogue illustration. There is a tiny dent above the head of the grasshopper. There are some small losses of paint along the edges, partially visible on the catalogue illustration.
