Complet de l’errata et de l'annonce du Figaro par Édouard Ourliac, imprimés sur un papier plus fin.Cet ouvrage, destiné d’abord à former les tomes V à X de la quatrième édition des Études philosophiques, parut en décembre 1837 à la date de 1838 chez "l'Éditeur", c’est-à-dire au bureau du Figaro et fut donné en prime aux abonnés du journal. Tout comme le personnage principal de l'ouvrage, Balzac fut maintes fois aux prises avec des banquiers, des usuriers et il connut les angoisses de la faillite proche. SAND, George. La Petite Fadette.
