Description
Set with an agate cameo depicting Hercules wearing the skin of the Nemean lion, within a border of cushion-shaped diamonds and an outer band of green basse-taille enamel, French import assay marks.
Condition
Stamped with French import marks for 18 carat gold and silver. Cameo with crack and small chip to edge, carving in good condition, measuring approximately 28 x 19mm. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 4.00 - 5.00 carats, estimated colour I-K, SI1 clarity on average. Some areas of chipping to green enamel edge. Overall dimensions approximately 43 x 35mm, gross weight approximately 19.7 grams.
