Description
- Haroldo Burle Marx
Comprising: a ring, set with a carved aquamarine to a mount of Florentine finish, size G1/2; and a brooch of similar design, each signed Burle Marx.
Provenance
Whilst the Queen of Denmark was on a state visit to Brazil in 1999 these pieces were gifted to a member of the Royal party.
Condition
Each signed Burle Marx, stamped 750. Aquamarines in good condition, some minor areas of chipping to extremities, aquamarine in ring measuring approximately 20.7 x 15.6 x 12.1mm; aquamarine in brooch measuring approximately 39.0 x 11.5 x 8.6mm. Overall dimensions of brooch approximately 48 x 22mm. Combined gross weight approximately 41.1 grams.
