Description

  • Diameter 9 in., 22.9 cm
the baluster jar sweeping upward from a waisted lower body to a generous shoulder and upright rim, the exterior with four registers of vertical ribs divided by horizontal fillets, the slightly domed cover with an undulating rim surmounted by a small stem-form knop, covered overall in an unctuous sea-green glaze save for the well, rim, foot ring, and base, all burnt orange from firing (2)

Condition

The jar has small chips to the rim and foot, but otherwise is in overall good condition with only very light expected wear to the surface.
