Description
- Diameter of larger 6 5/8 in., 16.8 cm
each with gently rounded sides supported on a slightly spreading foot, the center of the interior wreathed in a scrolling foliate vine molded in low relief, with the four loops of the vine encircling a pendent flower in bloom, the motif repeating around the cavetto with the characters shu and fu positioned at opposite sides of the dish amongst the undulating stems, covered overall in an unctuous white glaze (2)

Condition
One bowl with an approx. 1.5-cm hairline crack from the rim, extending to a longer glaze line at the interior, as well as small chips to the foot ring, general surface wear to the interior, and minor firing imperfections (small burst glaze bubbles, small iron spots). The other bowl is in generally good condition with a couple small shallow flakes to the foot ring, minor expected wear to the interior, and minor firing imperfections (the rim is slightly warped, and the interior has a few small iron spots). The glaze at the interior is slightly matte, and the colors of the glazes are consistent with the illustration in the printed catalog.
