Description
- Length 6 in., 15.2 cm
the compressed globular body with a short straight neck and wide mouth, set to the shoulders with four X-pattern slip-decorated strap handles, the sides applied in white slip with eight clusters of three vertical ribs under a rich brownish-black glaze stopping neatly above the short foot

Condition
The rim has restoration to some scattered frits and shallow chips. There is an open firing tear across the base approx. 2 inches long. The surface with overall wear, glaze loss, and crazing and has been cleaned and polished. There are minor glaze and potting imperfections consistent with age and type.
