A number of plain silver boxes with domed covers, but flat bases, filled with cinnabar, jade, amber and quartz, and inscribed with descriptions of their contents, were excavated at Hejiacun, Xi'an, in 1970, together with silver dishes, jars and other medical equipment, see Wenwu, no. 6, 1972, pls 4-5.
