the compressed barrel-form body supported on three stout cabriole legs, the rounded sides cast with a band of raised bosses encircling the rim and base, set with a pair of lion-mask-handles, the base with an apocryphal six-character Xuande mark cast in relief within a recessed rectangle, the patina dark brown

There censer is in good overall condition. There is wear overall with tiny nicks to edges and rims and minor imperfections consistent with age and type.
