- Height 73 1/2 in., 186.8 cm; Width 37 in., 94 cm; Depth 19 1/2 in., 49.5 cm
the mitered, mortice and tenon frame top with a floating recessed panel tongue and grooved into the inside edge of the frame, supported underneath by two transverse stretchers, with tenons exposed on the short sides and finished with a simple cushion molding with a shoulder above and below, the two single board doors of typical mitered, mortice and tenon and half-lapped construction with a floating panel and secured with three transverse stretchers to the reverse, the stiles tapering towards the top both in front and side elevation, the side panels also of single board construction with three transverse stretchers and framed by simple round moldings, softwood backboards tongue and grooved into the rear stiles and supported with three transverse stretchers, the interior with three softwood shelves and base panel, all surmounting the plain eared aprons mitered and half-lapped and tongue and grooved into the inside edge of the legs on three sides, the interior with three elm wood shelves, huangtong curved rectangular lock plates and door pulls

Condition
The cabinet is in good overall condition. There has been some general consolidation to the joinery. There has been some shrinkage to some of the panels, the back panels have a gap to the frame There is some splitting, most visibly on the side panels. There is overall surface and joint wear appropriate with age and use and some minor repairs such as a triangular patch repair to one foot. Please note that this lot will require a CITES permit for export outside of the United States.
