Description

  • Diameter 10 5/8  in., 27 cm
the steep gently rounded sides rising to a slightly everted rim, covered overall in a creamy-white slip and transparent glaze, the well with five small spur marks, the glaze finishing unevenly above the unglazed foot revealing the buff-colored stoneware body

Condition

The rim with one shallow chip and fritting and there s a long crack through the base (approx 13 cm)the surface with extensive ware resulting in a matte finish, crazing and discoloration of the glaze and areas of gray speckling.
