Catalogue Note
In the 1950’s, Eberhard & Co. introduced its first diver’s watch collection under the name ‘Scafograf’. Over the years the reference was upgraded and improved upon until the Scafograf 1000M was launched in 1983. The present example, Scafograf 200, is water resistant up to 200 meters and is fitted with a beautiful black lacquer dial with gilt graphics. The hour markers, which have developed a charismatic green patina, were made of tritium. The hour hand has a diamond arrow tip, the minute hand is elongated and the seconds hand has a lollipop-shaped tip. All of which match the green patina of the numerals.
According to research, the Scafograf 200 was produced in very limited numbers and the present example is in very crisp and original condition.
