Catalogue Note
The reference 1675 was produced until 1980 and garnered the likes of professionals and jet-setters alike, to become a true icon in the horological scene and pop culture, thanks to its red and blue 'Pepsi' bezel. The present example is dated 1972 and bears a 3.2 million serial case with an early Mark IV dial displaying a flat texture to the indexes. This matt dial bears no serif to the 'Oyster Perpetual' script and has a tall, narrow-base coronet. The original silvered date disc with an open 6 and 9, as well as a red GMT hand, adds to its sought-after detail. The Pepsi bezel retains sharp colours and creates a striking effect overall.
