Condition
MVT running at the time of cataloguing. Chronograph functioning. CASE in very good overall condition. Sharp edges and strong proportions, retaining service sticker to case back. Very light surface scratches visible under magnification. Bracelet too in good condition though slightly loose. DIAL in very good condition

The Omega Speedmaster Apollo XI with sapphire case back was launched in 1980 and made in a small special series, numbered but not limited, to commemorate Apollo XI's successful moon landing. The present watch has the low number A 040 on the back and is engraved 'Apollo XI 1969 First Watch Worn On The Moon'.
