Condition
The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The bezel with minor signs of wear and tiny pinhead dings at places. The band with minor signs of wear at 1 o'clock and 9 o'clock. The case back with surface wear and pinhead dings throughout. The bracelet with minor surface wear throughout, particularly toward the clasp. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts. The present watch with a Royal Oak case an perpetual calendar function is set with approximately 610 brilliant-cut diamonds on the bracelet, clasp, bezel and dial while weighing approximately 5.5 carats. Presented in a well-kept condition for its age, it is a great example of Audemars Piguet jewellery watch in the 1980s to 1990s.
