Condition

The movement is in working condition at the time of cataloguing. The dial is very attractive and is in excellent condition. The band with very minor signs of wear at places and at 9 o'clock, but is hardly visible to the naked eye. Underneath the upper right lugs with minor surface wear from removing the strap. The case back is in very good overall condition with light wear at 9 o'clock and the hallmarks at 6 o'clock is slightly rubbed. The buckle with minor signs of wear. Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Catalogue Note

Finely crafted in the workshop of Le Locle, Switzerland, the present Ulysse Nardin features an extraordinary dial that adapts the decorative techniques of champlevé enamelling and stone-setting. The dial depicts a majestic bird resting on a Rose branch overlooking the garden it is in. The techniques used for the dial perfectly demonstrated the depth and vibrancy of the theme which makes it mesmerizing. Furthermore, the watch is set with 104 diamonds on the case, 59 diamonds on the dial and 30 diamonds on the rotor weighing an approximate 1.32 carats.
