The present watch is a Nautilus reference 5800, a mid-size Nautilus introduced to replace it predecessor, reference 3800. The reference 5800 was a watch made to answer the demand of some collectors with a smaller wrist, or those looking at something more understated. Although the watch has highly sophisticated persona and a sporty design, the reference 5800 was only in production for 3 short years as at the time collectors dislike it’s lack of masculinity when compared to the reference 5711. With the low number of 5800 available in the market today, the reference 5800 has now been considered as a modern day treasure.
