Catalogue Note
The reference 6263 is the last version of the Rolex Daytona made with a manual-winding Valjoux movement and is one of the most desirable vintage Daytona models due to its some what masculine screw-down pushers and in this instance striking black dial. This, in combination, with the black acrylic bezel insert, characteristic to this reference, trick the eye to perceive the dial as somewhat larger than it is and serves to give the watch great presence.
