Catalogue Note
The Ref. 5135 represents Patek Philippe's continuous desire to improve upon its own iconic contributions to horology. The tonneau-form dial differs from the previous circular annual calendar, and honors the firm's case designs from the Art Deco period. Rather than displaying the date in registers, the day of week, date, and month appear in three apertures arranged in an arc between 10 and 2 o'clock. The Ref 5135 is powered by the in-house caliber 324, and was the first wristwatch to automatically advance the month, day and date.
