Condition
The panel is sound. There are some horizontal striations, visible in raking light, running horizontally through the center of the panel, inherent to the panel. There are two minor scratches in the paint in the lower left corner. There is an extremely minor loss to the paint in the extreme upper left corner, not visible when framed. Under UV light, there are fine strokes of inpainting visible along all the edges, likely due to previous frame abrasion. There are fine strokes of inpainting visible in the upper register of the sky. There are some strokes of inpainting in the figures and in the building at right. The work is in good condition.
