Condition
The canvas has been strip lined. The canvas is slightly undulating in the upper right corner. There are some scattered lines of craquelure. There is some scattered staining in the lower register. Under UV light, there is a 2 inch area of inpainting in the lower right quadrant, along the line where the boat and the water meet. There is a nailhead sized area of inpainting in the white sail along the lower register. There is a nailhead sized area of inpainting in the ship's mast second from the right, and an additional nail head sized stroke of inpainting in the dark green ship's hull. There is a dime sized area of inpainting in the cloud at upper right. The work is in overall good condition.
