Condition

The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals strokes of retouching along all four edges, and to the sky, notably towards the upper right and upper left corners. There is a repaired tear (approximately 8cm.) with associated in-painting to the right of the haystack. There are a couple of further strokes of in-painting directly above the haystack, and a 1cm. area of in-painting to the right of the haystack. The work is in fair overall condition.
