Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge and floating in the mount. The sheet is lightly time-stained. There are several artist pinholes to all four corners. There is a small paper loss to the upper right corner, a small tear to the lower left corner and a 5mm long tear to the upper part of the right edge. There is a flattened crease on the upper edge, one running across the lower left corner (approx. 15cm long) and one (approx. 5cm) to the centre of the left edge. There is a water stain to the lower part of the right edge. There are some spots of foxing in places, most notable to the light turquoise pigment to the far right of the composition. This work is in overall good condition.
