Provenance

Estate of the artist
Private Collection, California
Thence by descent to the present owner in 2013

Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and hinged to the mount in two places on the upper edge. The edges are very slightly unevenly cut and there is a tiny nick to the centre of the left extreme edge. The sheet is slightly time-stained and there are some tape remnants on two of the extreme edges of the verso. The verso of the sheet shows signs of some discolouration and indicates that it was historically against an acidic board. This work is in overall good condition.
