Condition
Executed on cream wove paper and not laid down. The sheet is time-stained. The work is slightly undulating due to application of medium. There is a vertical repaired tear (approximately 6cm.) towards the centre of the upper edge and a repaired tear to the upper right corner (approximately 2cm.). There are further minor tears (approximately 4mm.) to the upper part of the left edge, and towards the centre of the lower edge (approximately 1cm.). There is a minor nick to the lower part of the left edge. There are fine lines of craquelure to the thicker white pigments of the sky and a paint loss to the white cloud towards the centre of the upper edge. There are remnants of brown tape intermittently along all four edges to the verso of the sheet. This work is in overall good condition.
