Description
Set with two step-cut emeralds weighing approximately 4.00 carats in total, within a pierced mounting decorated with single- and old European-cut diamonds, French assay mark, circa 1910, size 6¼.
Condition
Accompanied by an AGL report no. 8089011 A and B, dated 11 March 2019, stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, with insignificant to minor clarity enhancement. Also accompanied by a copy of GCS report (Gemmological Certificate Service) no. 5775-1875, dated 29 April 2015, stating that the emeralds are of Colombian origin, with indications of minor clarity enhancement. Please refer to the reports for further details. With French assay mark for platinum. Emeralds are of medium tone, one is sightly bluish green and one is bluish green colour, medium light saturation, upon 10x magnification, there are moderate typical inclusions with a few surface reaching, a few minor chips, some nicks and abrasions. Diamonds are bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age, overall in good condition.
