Description
The pendant set with a fluted citrine encasing an onyx hoop, embellished with brilliant-cut diamonds, to the interlinked necklace of fluted citrine, onyx and diamond-set hoops, mounted in yellow gold, signed VCA, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, necklace length approximately 540mm, can be separated and worn as three bracelets, bracelet length approximately 160mm each, 1970s.
Condition
Signed VCA, numbered 25480, 25481, 25482 and 25483, with French maker's marks and French assay marks for yellow gold. Citrines are of brownish yellow colour; citrine in pendant are medium light tone and medium light saturation; citrines in necklace are light tone and very light saturation; all are eye-clean, under 10x magnification, there are minor abrasions, nicks and scratches, largest hoop with a few minor typical inclusions and one is lightly surface reaching. Onyxes with scratches and some abrasions mainly at the interlinked ends, overall in good condition. Diamonds estimated to weigh approximately 14.00 - 16.00 carats in total as gauged in the mount, are bright and lively. Signs of normal wear to the metal commensurate with age, some minor discolouration but not noticeable when worn. Overall in very good condition.
