NATURAL PEARL AND DIAMOND NECKLACE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Description

Composed of three rows of graduated natural pearls measuring from approximately 4.05mm to 8.10mm, to a clasp set with a pearl within a surround of circular-cut diamonds, length approximately 600mm.

Condition

Accompanied by SSEF report no. 81546, dated 31st August 2015, stating that the three hundred and thirteen pearls are natural, saltwater, measuring between 4.05 - 8.10mm diameter, including round to oval and button-shaped pearls, of slightly cream to cream body colour, partly with rosé and green overtones. Please note that the pearl in the clasp has not been tested. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 0.80 - 1.20 carats. Pearls generally well-matched, with slight variations to lustre and shape, and minor imperfections to nacre surfaces including minor pitting and crazing. Clasp closing securely. Gross weight approximately 63.5 grams. Overall in good condition.
