Claw-set with a line of variously sized oval rubies, between brilliant-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds, length approximately 160mm, signed VCA, numbered, case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.
Condition
Accompanied by a copy of SSEF 74462, stating that the rubies measuring from approximately 4.8 x 4.95 x 2.90mm to 10.35 x 7.15 x 4.20mm and calculated to weigh between approximately 0.60 carats and 3.00 carats, are of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heat treatment. Signed VCA © 1963, numbered NY 43258 .1, tongue stamped 750, maker's mark, reverse of one link stamped PT950. Some rubies with surface reaching inclusions, and some with light wear to facet edges. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 22.00 - 25.00 carats, estimated to be F-H colour, VS clarity on average. Estimated total weight of rubies approximately 28.00 - 32.00 carats. Links well-articulated, clasp secure. Gross weight approximately 46 grams. Overall in good condition. Case stamped Van Cleef & Arpels.
