The card appears sound. The card is very slightly curled at the extreme corners, only visible upon close inspection. There are a number of a very small nicks and flecks of loss to the extreme edges in places. There are some very fine lines of craquelure in places, only visible upon extremely close inspection. There are a number of scratches to the surface, in keeping with the Artist's working methods. There is some surface dirt and studio matter evident. There are a few scuffs, particularly to the left hand third of the work but these appear to be from the hand of the Artist. This excepting the work appears to be in very good overall condition. The card is sealed within its mount, and is further held within an aluminium slip, and within a linen, wood and brass frame. Consequently it is not possible to view the reverse of the card.
