- Height of taller 16 in., 40.6 cm
the bearded male rider with a spotted dog riding on the back of the saddle, the female rider with an accompanying cat (2)
Provenance
Sotheby's New York, 22nd March 2001, lot 76 (part lot).
Condition
Both figures with restored breaks to extremities such as legs, as well as restoration to other extremities such as ears, tails and feet of one of the riders. There are minor losses such as the tips of the felines tails and there has been retouching of the pigments. Each figure with four small TL test holes.
