All 3 plaques with rough edges, possibly original to manufacturing, as well as overall minor firing imperfections and minor wear to the surface. The plaque depicting a grasshopper in overall good condition, and the reverse with an exhibition label dated 1932, titled 'US CUSTOMS: A CENTRY OF PROGRESS". The plaque depicting the dragon fly, as described in the catalogue, with a pierced aperture at the top, and with two further circular drill marks adjacent to the aperture. The reverse of the plaque with an old chip adjacent to the aperture, measuring approx. 0.7 cm in width. The rectangular plaque with minor chips and nicks around the edges.
