Abraham Cailliatte (1642-1710) came from a family of French refugees who came to Geneva in the 17th Century. A gold and enamel watch with allegorical battle scenes by Abraham Cailliatte (Caillate) is listed in the Louvre, Paris. Kathleen H. Pritchard, Swiss Timepiece Makers, 1775-1975, p.C-4
