Description

  • 13.7 cm, 5 3/8  in.
well potted from marbled clays of pale buff and dark brown tone forming a dense pattern of swirls, the marbled ware with deep rounded sides supported on a flat base surmounted by a pale buff band applied with a transparent slip

Condition

There are two faint hairline cracks to the rim,approx. 6 cm and 3 cm. Firing imperfections including two firing flaws to the rim, the longer approx. 3 cm, typical tiny pinholes and glaze crackles. General surface wear.
