This American film was directed by Milos Forman, and stars Jack Nicholson, Louise Fletcher, Will Sampson and Danny DeVito. It was based on Ken Kesey's 1962 novel of the same nameﷺ. It was filmed in Oregon, partly in the Oregon State Hospital, which was t𝐆he location Kesey had used in his novel for the mental hospital. The film was the second to win all five major Academy Awards - Best Picture, Actor in a Lead Role, Actress in a Lead Role, Director and Screenplay. This feat had not been achieved since It Happened One Night forty-one years earlier, and didn't happen again until The Silence of the Lambs in 1991.
