A🌌 FABERGÉ SET OF JEWELLED GOLD AND GUILLOCHÉ ENAMEL SHIRT STUDS, S🍌T PETERSBURG, 1899-1903
enamelled in translucent vivid red and set with rose-cut diamonds, with indistinct workmaster's initials, 56 standard, scratched inventory number 64914; with original Fabergé fitted case
diameter 0.8cm, ⅜in.
According to the Imperial Cabinet ledgers, Grand Duke Mikhail Alexandrovich ordered two enamelled sets of shirt studs numbered 64915 and 64916 from 💮Fabe🃏rgé, identical in description to the present lot numbered 64914, for his journey to London in 1901.
