Arabic manuscript on vellum, 15 lines to the page written in Kufic in dark brown ink, diacritics in the form of red dots, ‘ashr ♋verse markers in a round shape decorated with red and green ink
leaf: 24.6 by 31.7cm.
The ‘ashr verse markers of this Qur’an leaf are similar to those found on a leaf now in the Los Angeles County Museum 🌱of Art, dated to the end of eigth century, inv.no. M.73.5.515 (published on //collections.lacma.org/node/239663).
