Since Patek Philippe launched the Nautilus in the 1970s, the model has acclaim and much collector attention among lovers of haute horology, iconic design and wearable luxury. Whilst the very first Nautilus ref. 3700 featured a large ‘jumbo’ sized case at 42mm, Patek Philippe subsequently launched the ref. 3800 in 1981 with smaller unisex size case size at 37.5mm and a smaller ladies or ‘boy-sized’ version wit🅷h quartz calibre ref. 3900 between1984 and 1989.

It took until the 2009 for the firm to launch their larger contemporary collect🥃ion of the Nautilus exclusively for ladies, with automatic movements via the ref. 7011/1 and 7010/1. Multi🐻ple versions of variant are available in this series, covering all case metals, dial variants and in some exclusive examples, full gem setting such as the current example, reference 7021/1G-001. This 34mm example is constructed from 18k white gold, with automatic caliber 324 and full ‘random’ pave diamond setting to the case, dial and bracelet. This so called ‘random’ setting of diamonds to the watch ensures that each example is utterly unique.
