Pieter Oets, mainly active in Zeeland, Rotte🐬rdam and Amsterdam, was a painter, engraver, miniature🦋 painter and draughtsman. His preferred genres were portraiture and still lifes. He was also active as a collector and a dealer and his name appears as the buyer of pastels by Boucher and other artists in London sales in 1758.
