An Egyptian Limestone Canopic Jar
26th/30th Dynasty, 664-342 B.C.
of ovoid form with lid in th𒉰e form of a head of one of the Four Sons of Horus facing upward, with short square beard, and incised eyebrows and cosmetic lines, the body of the vessel with trace of a black-painted inscription.
Height 18 cm.
