12mo (173 x 100 mm). Scattered foxing and staining, minor worming to preliminary leaves. Contemporary calf, upper board with gilt-lettered green morocco label reading "Legislature of Maine"; rebacked, extremities rubbed with some loss. In custom slipcase and fo𝄹lding💧 chemise. 


An early printing of Maine's first constitution.
