Overall size 12.5 x 8.5 x 6.0 cm. A rare example of this opaline silica, sometimes referred to as geyserite, formed in the hot springs of Yellowsto🌳ne. Sliced and polished to reveal two opal nodules, the larger of which displays bright play-of-color with orange, blue, green and yellow hues. With custom lucite base.
