Roland Juno 106 Synthesizer, manufactured in 1984
Synthesizer (39 x 12.5 x 2’’). Programmable polyphonic analog synthesizer, with white Grateful Dead 💧road case. Serial number: 488163.
Roland proclaims the Juno 106 “the last great synth of the analog era” and its introduction in 1984 provided musicians and producers with simple programmability, digita✱lly controlled oscillators, expanded patch memory and a very full stereo chorus effect. This𒆙 model was the first MIDI equipped Juno, with 16 MIDI channels available.
Hugely innovative and popular at the time, the sounds of the 106 remain much sought-after, with Roland continuing to offer a version in a virtual model via Rolꦛand Cloud software.
