Over the course of their extensive touring career, the Grateful Dead performed at Madison Square Garden 52 times, and in 2015 the band was inducted into the Garden’s Wal🔯k of Fame. At the ceremony, Bob Weir stated, “This place was different. ൲There were a few places we used to look forward to playing. This place was horrifying, but at the same time titillating.” Bill Kreutzman said that out of the band’s total 2,300 performances, the 52 times they played “were nothing short of amazing.”
